Norwich Lions Club

Participate in the Norwich Lions Club Raffle Extraordinaire until December 4!

The Norwich Lions Club has more than two dozen members who volunteer to raise money to benefit community organizations, primarily through staging an annual Norwich Fair in July. Members also participate in community events that include cookouts, fun runs, and parades.

Norwich Lions Club members volunteer their time to help community programs, like Meals on Wheels, the Bugbee Senior Center, the Marion Cross School children’s reading program, Veterans Administration, the Upper Valley Haven, other Vermont Lions clubs, and voting outreach. “Visioneers” from the club provide SPOT vision screening for school children under the supervision of the school nurses in Norwich and surrounding Vermont communities.

Normally, the club meets in the basement of the Norwich Public Library on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 pm, except during July and August.

The Norwich Lions Club belongs to District 45 of Lions Clubs International in Vermont; the district offers a “toolbox” on how to conduct a variety of club activities.
